Mrs. Fran Bowling is selling it all and heading out on a new adventure! She has been in the Roanoke area all of her life dedicating her time to family, community & Northminster Presbyterian Church. Most of all she lived her life teaching and guiding her students. She was a dedicated teacher for Huff Lane Elementary School, leaving her legacy with every young person that she crossed paths with. She has left her mark on countless generations. Now she is embarking on a new journey. Farmer Auctions is honored to be chosen to assist her with this transition. Mr. Bowling retired after 43 years of service from C&P telephone company where he started as a lineman and retired as an engineer's assistant. His contribution to the collection includes lineman tools and memorabilia, Bedford memorabilia including annuals from The Peaks 1946 and 48, commemorative plates, map & a brick from the old Liberty academy formally Randolph Macon boys school, embroidered linens, vintage Tupperware, bakeware, cookware and many small appliances. Mrs Bowling loves her holidays and there are decorations for almost every season. A nice wide variety of Vintage Toys. Rounding out the collection is a beautiful steel glider with matching chairs and occasional table as well as many other porch furnishings and deck furnishings.
