June Totten was deeply rooted in Saltville, Va. The Totten family had many business enterprises in Saltville. In the town's center, June's grandfather, William James "Uncle Bill", Totten had a jewelry store at the turn of the century, the Totten & Wiley drug store, and a lunch counter operated by various family members. Her father served terms as mayor of Saltville. Upon June's retirement from principal and administration at Pulaski County Schools, she graduated from RB Worthy and attended Emory & Henry College. She continued in her father's footsteps promoting her lovely town of Saltville & its history, every chance she got!

June became the keeper or guardian of numerous family stores and Saltville artifacts. This auction offers countless historic pieces of Saltville history. Two large antique wall clocks from the Totten Stores, a seed drawer display, an antique oak floor mirror used in the jewelry store, cabinets from stores, a thread spool box, a sign from Piggly Wiggly Saltville store, and Saltville topper license plates, signs from Saltville train station. Ledgers from Tottens' stores, records recordings from Saltville WNEV, souvenirs from Saltville, and postcards. Photos and school memorabilia include a jacket, annuals, programs, and booklets. Tobacco cutters from the store. Cases, 1940 Canada Dry thermometer. Other artifacts include bottles, photos of various Saltville Drug stores, Santa Blow mold, art glass, and a mid-century swung vase. Her collection contains a Lotus jadeite set, uranium glass, Fenton, Pyrex, depression glass, and ceramic Christmas trees. Other items of interest are vintage bouncy chairs, an antique oak bedroom set, washstand, dresser, marble top tables, and a hall tree. Crates including Bonoham Brother Orchards Chilhowie.
