Farmer Auctions is very happy to celebrate not one amazing Fincastle collection with you, but two. Both collections are filled with a variety of items such as sterling silver flatware (and more), locally handmade furniture, a collection of Barbie Dolls in their original boxes (original and modern), oriental rugs, an antique corner cupboard, & patio furniture. Art from these collections feature local artists including Harold Little, Tink Ewald, Connie Marsh, & Huber. Also from Fincastle, we have an Antique brass steam whistle from F.D. Bolton tomato factory. Glassware in these collections include brands Fenton, Blenko, & Tiffany & Co. For your kitchen we have Pyrex mixing bowls, original Tupperware, and more. These collections have just about anything you could need for your hobbies and home. Now that we have shared about some of these goodies, we would love to gush about the collectors themselves!
Peggy Crosson owns a historic home in Fincastle that she has lovingly brought back to life over the years through numerous remodeling projects. She has been an active member of the Fincastle Historic Society and also helps out with the Virginia Lewis & Clark Legacy Trail. As you can see, retirement from working in corporate for Carilion Clinic has not slowed her down one bit! Please enjoy the items from her home that are numbered 1 through 175.
Our second collector is Lynne Bolton. Lynne also celebrates the history of the area and has served on the board of directors for the Fincastle Historic Society. You may have met Lynne during a school activity at Lord Botetourt where she taught. She now enjoys spending time with her friends and her two small dogs. Items from her collection begin at number 200 and continue until the end of the auction.

Farmer Auctions is proud to present the collection of Sue Tolbert of Troutville, VA. After graduating from UVA, Sue served as a special education teacher in Roanoke County. Though she has had many achievements to be proud of, she looks most fondly on what she was able to build with her late husband Doug. Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being a master handyman, but was also a partner in breeding, raising, and training their beloved Boxer dogs. Their love of the breed is shown by their collection of all things Boxer, and numerous plaques & medals from their former show dogs.
Highlights from this collection include a Ford Explorer, recently purchased cub cadet zero-turn lawn mower, king-size Sleep Number smart bed, a collection of fishing poles, Boxer statuettes and decor (of course), new and antique furniture, and many more unique pieces. MaSues friendly Boxers, Mack & Tara, wish you a friendly woof. Enjoy scrolling, and happy bidding.
