We are honored to present to you the magnificent estate of Daniel "Dan" DeVilbiss, EdD of Roanoke, Virginia.
Dan received his Doctoral Education Degree from Virginia Tech & served as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Roanoke Valley.
Dan loved art from a young age leading him to having a vast Artwork Collection. He also loved Antiquing with his friends!
His collection consists of African Tribal Art, Many Religious relics, 2003 Grand Piano by Samick, a large collection of Artwork including paintings, metal & clay sculptures & more! Sterling Silver, Crystal, Bohemian Glass, China, DeVilbiss perfume bottles, lamps, pedestals, Variety of Antique furniture & an amazing array of men's jewelry that consists of 50 plus pieces including 14K & 18k gold rings, bracelets & necklaces!
It has been a humbling experience to catalog this Auction & meet with some of Dan's closest friends & family. We hope you all enjoy his treasures!

Gene Kersey lived 98 years working and living in the Peterstown Community. She loved, history and her home was a show place when passing on Rt. 219. She loved restoring her home and the two story white house with black shutters with pots of red geraniums was a show place. Gene was very talented and loved to craft with her hands. The sale has many vintage ceramics which include a large ceramic Santa, 2 ceramic Christmas trees, an NOEL letters with matching candle holder an many more pieces. Gene pieced many quilts, did beautiful embroidery, latch hook rugs, needle point, etc.
Mrs. Kersey loved anything wood. She purchased and had many items made from Wood Whittlers in Gatlinburg, Tenn. Hand carved Wooden Fruit, Lamps, tables, coffee table, side tables,, Mid Century cattail sculpture, just to mention a few pieces. She also bought many other wood craft items from local craftsmen. Gene collected an lovingly restored antique oak furniture, dressers, chairs, an has a large secretary. Other offerings of interest are Historical Peterstown Photographs including the old Peterstown School, post cards, panorama of town and others. A Mid Century Moon & Star pole lamp - amber color, Seneca glass set, amber Fostoria Coin glass oil lamp with shade. Dough bowl, Greenbrier Hotel dishes, blue jars, a 1950 five piece maple dining set, walnut one drawer stand, cast iron, oil lamps, pewter. vintage Zenith stereo and records, Cobblers Bench made by Dr. Kersey, wooden stools, benches, 1930 enamel top table, large set of Pfaltzgraff-Juniper pattern, milk can, cast iron bell an so much more!!
